Job summary

A leading healthcare provider is looking for a Fleet Make Ready Operative to maintain and ensure high standards for patient transport vehicles. The ideal candidate should hold a full manual driving licence and ideally have vehicle maintenance knowledge. Responsibilities include vehicle cleaning, performing checks, and reporting any issues to Shift Managers. Candidates must demonstrate good communication skills and be prepared to work flexible hours outdoors. This is a critical role supporting health services for a population of four million.

Qualifications

• Full Manual Driving Licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Good communication skills to work with diverse teams.
• Previous experience in driving various types of vehicles.
• Some knowledge in vehicle/medical equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ambulances for daily use.
• Clean vehicles internally and externally.
• Complete vehicle checks including tyre pressure and oil levels.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and report findings.
• Attend offsite breakdowns as required.
