Job summary

A leading UK airport operator is seeking a Motor Transport Team Manager based at East Midlands Airport. In this essential role, you will manage the operational fleet of vehicles ensuring seamless airport operations. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance, allocating team tasks, and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations. Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance, experience leading teams, and relevant HGV certifications. The role offers a permanent contract and excellent benefits including a pension and generous holiday allowance.

Qualifications

  • Manage the operational fleet of vehicles at East Midlands Airport.
  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, and servicing of vehicles.
  • Allocate work to team members and adhere to health & safety.

Education

NVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance or equivalent
HGV Inspector qualification (IRTEC)
Hydraulics Stage 1 (CETOP accreditation)
IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
Internal Quality Systems Auditing or equivalent
HGV and Fork Lift Truck Licence (advantage)
