A leading aerospace company in Edinburgh is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to work on the MC-55A Peregrine. This role involves performing aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaborating with military personnel. Candidates must have a Cert IV Aeroskills (Mechanical) and strong communication skills. Reporting to the Team Lead Aircraft Maintenance, this is an exciting opportunity to get involved with the newest addition to the RAAF fleet in Edinburgh, the MC-55A Peregrine!
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer on the Peregrine platform, you will be responsible for performing on aircraft maintenance activities, off aircraft maintenance and supporting operational units in industry specific tasks, such as advanced systems troubleshooting and rectification of aircraft and of competent modifications.
The positions will be paid in accordance with the Airbus Australia Pacific (Edinburgh) Enterprise Agreement – .
To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment, have well developed stakeholder engagement and expectation management skills as well as good verbal and written skills. You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment.
You will be able to work integrated with military personnel locally and in deployed locations (as required by the Customer).

As a High-Level Australian Government Security Clearance is a requirement for this role, you must be eligible for Australian citizenship. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are also applicable for this role, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role. You will also have the capacity to satisfy criminal history screening and pre-employment medical screening which may include drug and alcohol testing.
