Scope
The role provides the connection between Flight Operations and Modification, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MMRO) for the Aircraft (AC) fleet under the control of Windracers (includes Windracers owned / operated fleet and customer AC in post manufacture commissioning) and for customers operators purchasing Windracers MMRO support, the mission is to capture:
- The Flight Operations flying hours / Aircraft (AC) configuration requirement
- The scheduled maintenance and modification forecast for each AC in the fleet
- The scheduled maintenance requirement for all ground support equipment
- The context of flight operations (environment, duration of deployment, sortie profile) as a tool for estimating the volume of unscheduled maintenance activity in order to assemble a Fleet MMRO support programme and spare parts requirement
Responsibilities
- Liaison with Flight Operations to capture a detailed understanding of flying programme and the operational context for flight operations
- Liaison with Engineering to capture a detailed understanding of planned modification / service bulletins
- Leading the business in the maintenance / documentation of accurate flying / maintenance information (ALARIS)
- Capture of a Fleet scheduled maintenance forecast from AC maintenance logbooks (ALARIS)
- Leading the business in the capture of post flight serviceability data. Collate this data for Engineering and Operational action
- Support the Head of MMRO&A in estimating the requirement for unscheduled maintenance support to the Fleet
- Develop a rolling MMRO plan for based on the information captured above for final approval by the Head of MMRO&A
- In conjunction with the Fleet Support Spares and Equipment Crew Chief, develop a rolling MMRO plan for the ground support fleet
- Lead the continuous development of spare parts schedules for base MMRO and deployed support to operations
- Other responsibilities as agreed with your manager
- Working in accordance with Windracers values, policies, procedures and guidelines

- Provide a leading example to the team of adherence to company policies and culture and promote an open and transparent approach to reporting safety concerns and risks
- Act as subject matter expert in support of the Head of Modification Maintenance Repair Overhaul and Availability (MMRO&A)

Qualifications & Experience
- Experienced in managing vehicle fleets, tool inventories and support equipment (air, automotive, marine or rail)
- Experience applying fleet management systems (availability management, deployment, fault reporting)
- Experienced user and (desirable) administrator of spare parts inventory management system (ERP or similar)
- Experienced user and (desirable) administrator of equipment health and use management and reporting systems (ALARIS or equivalent)
- Demonstrable ability to collate and rationalise and present information from a variety of sources
- Ability to adapt and learn new skills
- Empathetic and skilful communicator used to dealing with and explaining competing priorities
- Willingness to periodically operate from remote locations (UK or overseas at the discretion of the employee)
- Experienced with Microsoft Office user
- Experienced project / progress management software user
- Right to work within the UK.
- Vetting and security clearance (as required by role, location or client)
