Our client is an established name within the air hygiene industry, who are looking to recruit a hardworking Air Hygiene Engineer/Duct cleaner to cover a variety of contracts, based in the Chelmsford area. The ideal candidate will have previous industry experience in both the air and water hygiene sector, however candidates with just air experience; undertaking duct and kitchen ventilation will be considered. Applications will be considered from Hertford, Southend on sea, Dartford, Colchester, and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience

• Applicants must have previous demonstrable experience working in this role within the air hygiene industry.
• An industry qualification will be advantageous.
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Be flexible and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key role

• Testing, inspection, ducting and remedial works of fire dampers.
• Air Handling Unit maintenances.
• Kitchen Extract Cleans.
• Ventilation Cleans.
• Bacteriological sampling.
• Cleaning and disinfection ductwork.
• Report writing.
• Completing paperwork and logbooks.
• Liaising with clients at all levels.
