Job Title: Air Hygiene Engineer
Location: Romford, South East.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Air Hygiene Engineer through to Lead Air Hygiene Engineer

Profile: A multi-disciplined, established player within the South East with a rapidly expanding Air Hygiene department. They are now looking to take on a competent and knowledgeable Air Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Romford area. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Air Hygiene industry and TR19 Regulations alongside experience carrying out fire damper testing, cleaning of kitchen extract systems, and providing clients with pre and post work reports.
Applications will be considered from: Hornchurch, Dagenham, Rainham, Ilford, Barking, Brentwood, Billericay, Basildon, Grays, Gravesend, Wickford, Bexleyheath, Dartford.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Will have previous experience working within the air hygiene industry.
• Will hold relevant TR19 Ticket and/ or Fire Damper Testing Certificate (Desirable)
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Will have excellent working knowledge on Health and Safety / TR19 Regulations.

The Role:

• Carrying out testing, inspection, ducting and remedial work on fire dampers.
• Undertaking maintenance of Air handling Units.
• Carrying out Kitchen Extract and ventilation cleans.
• Cleaning and disinfecting duct work.
• Completing site relevant paperwork and ensuring on site logbooks are up to date.
• Liaising with clients and ensuring any issues are dealt with effectively.
• Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety / TR19/ COSHH regulations.
