Overview

Air Conditioning Engineer required for a specialist M+E services provider with 45 years of established operation across the UK. The role covers the East Midlands area, with some travel across the Midlands as needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance and repairs of air conditioning units (VRV, VRF, Split and Multi Splits).
• Work across a range of commercial sites, including prisons, educational buildings and government sites.
• Travel within the East Midlands and surrounding areas; occasional wider Midlands travel may be required.

Position Requirements

• 5+ years' minimum experience in a similar position
• Experience with maintenance, service & commissioning on air conditioning equipment
• Experience with commercial refrigeration is highly advantageous
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
• Full Driving Licence
• Live within a commutable distance of Derby or Nottingham

Position Remuneration

• Basic Salary: 38,000 to 43,000 depending on experience
• Working hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm, plus overtime available
• No on call rota
• Travel paid after 30 minutes each way
• Overtime at enhanced rates (up to 1.82x basic rate)
• Company van and fuel card
• Annual Bonus: Discretionary, based on business and individual performance after 12 months of service
• Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Death in Service Insurance: 3x annual salary
