Qualifications

Job Summary

The Preschool Aide supports the Lead Preschool Teacher in creating a safe nurturing and faith-filled learning environment. This position assists in classroom activities supervision and the care of young children promoting their spiritual social emotional and cognitive development in alignment with Catholic values.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with daily classroom routines activities and transitions.
• Support the teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and faith-based activities.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play meals rest time and bathroom breaks.
• Help maintain a clean safe and organized classroom environment.
• Encourage positive social interactions respectful behavior and Christian values among students.
• Communicate effectively with students teachers and parents as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development as required.
• Uphold and model Catholic teachings in word and action.
• Ensure compliance with school safety protocols and diocesan Safe Environment policies.

Job Requirements
