Responsibilities
  • Advise on property transactions, succession planning, and tenancies within agriculture and rural affairs.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory, planning, and compliance matters affecting rural clients.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts and agreements; manage a diverse caseload while delivering practical, high-quality advice.
  • Build and maintain relationships with landowners, farmers, and rural businesses.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to support client needs.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ PQE in agriculture, rural affairs, or property law.
  • Strong technical background and ability to manage client relationships directly.
  • Based in Somerset (Wells, Street, or Somerton) or willing to work on-site in the Southwest countryside.
