Job description

This lovely family based in Archway, London, is seeking an Afterschool Nanny to support their three school‑aged daughters. The role includes school pick‑ups from South Hampstead and afternoon care at home. The ideal candidate will be calm, patient, and confident in supporting children with ADHD, offering structure, consistency, and encouragement throughout the afternoon and early evening. Someone warm, organised, and confident managing routines in a busy household will thrive in this role. A valid first‑aid qualification is a must.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm to 7:00/7:30 pm, occasional later finish until 8:30 pm.

Duties

• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Washing, dressing, and supporting the children’s daily routines
• Assisting with homework and educational activities
• Engaging the children in after‑school activities
• Organising recreational activities to support physical and mental development
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy environment for the children
• Encouraging creativity through arts and crafts
• Taking the children to parks, playgrounds, and other outings
• Supporting bedtime routines, including reading stories
