Job summary

A global workforce solutions partner is seeking a Technical Author for a 6-month contract in Bristol. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain technical publications and documentation for engine assembly and maintenance processes. Strong experience in technical publications within an aerospace environment and collaboration with Mechanical Engineers is required. The role demands excellent communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with documentation tools like S1000D is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical publications or methods engineering within aerospace.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and design changes.
• Experience collaborating with Mechanical Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical publications and methods documentation.
• Manage updates across a portfolio of ~250 publications.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams for alignment on documentation.
