Job summary

A leading supplier in aerospace based in Newtownabbey is seeking a Process Operator. The role involves operating and inspecting components, working with small parts, and ensuring compliance with procedures. Candidates need at least 6 months of experience in a regulated industry along with GCSEs in Maths and English. The position offers £15.87 per hour, with additional shift allowances and 12-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months employment experience in aerospace or regulated industry.
• Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely in line with procedures.
• Record necessary data and perform inspections.
• Pack/unpack components according to specifications.
• Prepare and process components through chemical treatments.
• Deburr precision components using manual and automated equipment.

Skills

Experience in aerospace or similarly regulated industry

Understanding work instructions

Experience reading engineering drawings

Deburring and assembly experience

GCSE Maths & English grade D or above
