A well known Aerospace organisation is searching for an experienced Buyer to join their team in Wimborne. The role involves managing purchasing activities for electronic assemblies, collaborating with multiple teams to improve supplier performance, and ensuring on-time delivery. Candidates should possess strong experience in aerospace or defence procurement, and a background in electronics is preferred. This position offers competitive pay on a contract basis for an initial duration of 6 months.

Qualifications

• Experience in Aerospace or Defence procurement required.
• Background in electronics or electronic assembly environments is essential.
• Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities for electronic assemblies.
• Process purchase orders and resolve supply issues proactively.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, planning, and supply-chain teams.
• Support supplier reviews and performance tracking.
• Ensure alignment with company procurement policies.

Skills
