Looking for a fresh start and open to relocating, or heard of the lovely Channel Islands and want to check it out for yourself?

We’re working with a highly rated local authority in the Channel Islands (based on great feedback from current social workers) to help them find an experienced social worker to join the service as an Advanced Prac in the safefguarding service.

This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary of £68,437.82, with room for this to increase in your first year. You’ll be joining a supportive and friendly council that puts its social workers first—with a focus on flexible working and a healthy work-life balance, allowing you the platform to do your best work.

What’s on offer:

  • £68,437.82 starting salary, with the chance to increase in year one
  • Outside IR35 (keep more of your earnings! 20% tax!)
  • £3,000 relocation support
  • Supportive, hands-on management team
  • Regular reflective supervision
  • Hybrid and flexible working options
  • A close-knit and welcoming team

Whether it’s the scenic island life or a chance to join a team that truly values its social workers, this could be the change you’re looking for.

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
