Advanced Apprentice Manufacturing Engineer

Salary

Starting from £18,018 with annual progression through the scheme duration

What you’ll be doing

Apprentices will learn skills in engineering practices - using tools and complex machines to carry out a range of tasks, operating safely and working on products in our manufacturing functions.

You’ll spend the 1st year gaining foundation skills, knowledge and behaviours before moving into your trade discipline, e.g. Mechanical or Electrical Aircraft Fitter, Mechatronics Maintenance, Machinist, Toolmaker or Fabricator.

In years 2 to 4 you will work in placements across Warton and Samlesbury sites, supported by a Skills Coach and Placement Supervisors on products and processes within manufacturing. You will continue to learn 1 day per week in the Academy for Skills and Knowledge.

What qualification will you get?

Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering, in a standard suited to your role (e.g. Machining, Mechatronics etc…)

Please note you must not book any annual leave within the first 3 months of your apprenticeship. Following this, leave will be considered depending on the individual training delivery schedule and must be approved by your line manager.
