A healthcare practice in Kirkby-in-Ashfield is looking for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their small team for approximately 20 hours a week. The ideal candidate will undertake essential clinical duties including consultations and home visits, while also contributing to a supportive work environment. Previous clinical experience and NMC registration are required, along with a commitment to teamwork and patient continuity.
Ashfield House Surgery is based in Annesley Woodhouse, a suburban village just north of Nottingham and is close to the M1, A38, Sheffield and the Peak District. Our practice population is circa 6000 patients with a mix of elderly residents and young families.
We value excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills, and we aim for staff who would integrate well with the clinical team with active contribution to continuing practice development. Our close-knit team of reception and administrative staff are on hand to offer support.
We are a supportive, forward-thinking practice with a friendly patient population who value continuity of care.
We are supported by 1 portfolio GP, 1 salaried GP, 2 experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 1 Practice Nurse and 1 Health Care Assistant. There is a community care nurse and home visit support from PICS. Collaborative working with Clinical Pharmacists, Physiotherapist, Social Prescribers, and Mental Health Practitioner employed by our Ashfield South PCN.

We are seeking the right ANP to join our small practice team based in Annesley Woodhouse. We value reliability, a good work ethic and the ability to work independently while contributing to a small team. The candidate should have experience with annual leave preferences (school term).
We will support the successful candidate with further training as needed. We are a tech-friendly System One practice. Our surgery has 1 portfolio GP, 1 salaried GP, 2 experienced ANPs, 1 Practice Nurse and 1 HCA, with extended staff and collaborative working with clinical pharmacists, physiotherapist, social prescribers, and mental health practitioner employed by our Ashfield South PCN.
Additionally, this role is suitable for someone who values continuity of care and teamwork within a supportive environment.
