Overview

Occupational Therapist – Adults (Community)
Location: Cornwall – East, Mid, and West (county-wide coverage)
Pay: £27.62 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: Ideally full-time, but part-time negotiable
Positions available: 3

Pertemps are recruiting for experienced Occupational Therapists to join the Adult Social Care team in Cornwall. We are looking for 3 OTs to cover East, Mid, and West Cornwall, providing community-based support with a focus on optimal care and reducing reliance on packages of care.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out face-to-face community assessments and interventions.
  • Manage a caseload of service users across your allocated area of Cornwall.
  • Deliver outcome-focused care plans that promote independence.
  • Support the council in achieving its savings target for 2025/26 by reducing reliance on ongoing care packages.
  • Work collaboratively within the wider social care team to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred practice.
Requirements
  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a community OT.
  • Preferably previous experience within Adult Social Care.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and deliver effective interventions independently.
  • Willingness to travel across your allocated area for face-to-face visits.
