Role Overview

Service Care Solutions, a Local Authority in Lincolnshire, is recruiting an experienced Adult Social Care Solicitor. The role offers an excellent opportunity for an established lawyer to deliver high‑quality legal advice across a broad range of adult care matters, including advocacy and court work.

Location and Contract

Location: Lincolnshire – Remote with minimal office attendance.
Umbrella Rate: £50‑£55 per hour.
PAYE Inc Rate: £44.10‑£48.44 per hour.
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing.

Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice to the Council on all aspects of Adult Social Care law.
  • Handle Court of Protection work.
  • Advise on Mental Capacity Act matters.
  • Represent the Council on Mental Health law issues.
  • Deliver general advisory work under the Care Act.
  • Manage associated court work and proceedings.
Key Requirements
  • 3+ years PQE in Adult Social Care law as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
  • Proven experience as an Adult Social Care Solicitor within a local authority or similar public sector environment.
  • Strong expertise in Court of Protection, mental capacity, and mental health law.
