About The Role

Adult Social Care Service Manager – Hospitals and Manchester Community Response

Following a recent promotion within our team, we’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join us as Service Manager for the Hospital Social Work Teams.

In this role, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership for adult social work across Manchester Hospitals and the Manchester Community Response (MCR) service. You’ll be instrumental in shaping high-quality, person-centred care to deliver good outcomes for residents, working closely with senior colleagues across health and social care.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the delivery of Care Act responsibilities and statutory duties
• Leading professional supervision and development of the social work service across hospital and community settings
• Driving continuous improvement and innovation to enhance outcomes for Manchester’s citizens
• Collaborating with stakeholders to reduce hospital delays and improve care pathways
• Taking the lead on adult social care performance across designated service areas
