Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a talented and skilled ADT Technician, who will work as part of the Art, Design and Technology Faculty to support the learning and teaching of students by ensuring practical lessons are well resourced and compliant with current Health and Safety legislation. Under the direction of the Head of Faculty, to contribute to the provision of an efficient and effective technical service to the ADT Faculty, supporting staff and students of all abilities, across all Key Stages, in the classroom. To maintain good working relationships with teaching and non-teaching staff and to liaise with other departments / staff in matters related to the technician service.

Working 25 hours per week term time only. (Term time includes working 2 out of 5 INSET days each academic year as directed, with availability to work any or all of the remaining 3 INSET days at short notice should the need arise). The role is based at Swinton Academy but may, on occasion, involve working at other academies within the trust.
