Job summary

A well-established family-run business is seeking a full-time Office Administrator to support customer enquiries and perform various administrative tasks. M4 Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a well-established family‑run business in Cricklade, who are seeking a full‑time Office Administrator to join their growing team. Due to the location, having your own transport is essential unless you live locally.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (08:30-16:30)

Key Responsibilities
  • Front‑of‑house and reception duties (phone and face‑to‑face), acting as the first point of contact and confidently supporting customer enquiries
  • Assisting with incoming deliveries and outgoing goods, including customer and courier collections
  • General office administration such as filing, raising purchase orders, managing post and stationery
  • Monthly accounting tasks, including entering sales invoices and supporting credit control activities
  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
About You

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience with invoicing, bookkeeping, or accounting tasks
  • Strong customer service skills, both over the phone and in person
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy office‑based administrative role
  • Good IT competency, particularly with Microsoft Office and Outlook (training provided on in‑house systems)
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • High motivation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to check your own work for accuracy
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a close‑knit team
