This role involves coordinating meetings, managing documentation, and providing high-quality administrative support while assisting with a major institutional project. Ideal candidates will possess strong organisational skills and excellent communication abilities, contributing positively to a small team. The position is full-time for a fixed term of 6 months starting from February 2026, with opportunities for personal and professional development.
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to join our Governance Office.
This is a key role at the heart of the University’s decision‑making structures, helping to keep our governance processes running smoothly while supporting a major institutional project to refresh the University’s Policy Framework.
You’ll be part of a small, friendly team that works closely with senior academic and professional services colleagues to ensure meetings, information and communications are delivered to a high standard.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, has excellent organisational skills, and wants to contribute to the smooth running of a critical University function.
Experience in governance or in the higher education sector is welcome but not essential – we will provide training and support for the right person.
This is a full‑time role for a fixed‑term period of 6 months from February – July 2026.
For an informal discussion about the role please contact Elisabeth Day, Interim Head of Governance at ed216@bath.ac.uk.
