Support Worker / Personal Assistant (Public Sector) - Part Time Opportunity

Location: Portland, Dorset
Hours: 16 hours per week
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Contract: Temporary (Public Sector Client)

Are you an organised, proactive individual looking for a meaningful part-time role within the public sector? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker / Personal Assistant to provide essential administrative and organisational support within a professional government establishment in Portland.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured administrative work, thrives on helping others stay organised, and is confident managing multiple tasks with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support, including:

  • Managing diaries and inboxes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Handling routine administrative tasks to support the wider team
  • Maintaining accurate filing systems and documentation
  • Responding to queries and directing them to the appropriate contacts where necessary
  • Supporting general office tasks to keep the establishment running efficiently

This is a non-operational role with no line management responsibilities.

  • All successful candidates must undergo identity and security checks before starting.
