A regional health organization in Wales is looking for a proactive individual to support homecare services in the Pharmacy Department. As part of our Pharmacy Department based in the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, you'll play a key role in supporting homecare services across the Health Board—processing prescriptions and invoices, liaising with homecare providers and clinicians, and helping ensure patients receive vital medication directly to their homes. We have a secondment or fixed term opportunity to join our Medicines Homecare Team for 19 months.
Aid in the provision of an efficient Pharmacy, Procurement and Homecare Services including ordering, receipting, invoicing and investigating and dealing with prescription queries. Be responsible for administrative duties for Homecare Service patients, which will include accurately interpreting prescription details and creating orders to Homecare suppliers using the pharmacy computer system homecare module. Liaising with patients/carers and Clinicians to ensure patients receive their medication in a timely manner.
