Job description
Overview

Please note: this role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts and the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB). We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Admin Assistant to provide direct admin support to members of the clinical team. The service is adaptive and cross-functional; while you will be assigned to directly support a department, you will provide support as a team across the Directorate. Teamwork, good time-keeping, meeting deadlines, and adapting your way of working are essential. This role supports the in-patient care, PIC Liaison Service, Main Reception, Management, Consultant Psychiatrist, Lead clinicians and the wider team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide up-to-date information to the teams and produce simple reports
  • Maintain patient records
  • Provide reception support
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets and internal forms within designated timescales
  • Maintain and update displays
  • Schedule clinical meetings
  • Manage diaries and meetings
  • Monitor and maintain the generic team mailbox and perform other administrative duties as requested
