Job description
Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to fulfil the role of Administration Team Co-Ordinator. You will work closely with the Administration Services Manager providing administration leadership, management, training and support to become part of our highly valued Therapy team.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Administration Manager to provide leadership, management, supervision, and development of an effective flexible administrative support team.
  • Act as a focal point for communication for all staff within the admin/secretarial team; supervise and delegate work to admin/secretarial staff.
  • Participate in Trust and local inductions for new starters, staff training, appraisals, approving annual leave and managing sickness.
  • Access a number of different electronic systems (eg Cerner EPR, SystmOne, Compucare) to ensure that therapy data is recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Use electronic data systems such as e-rostering to produce regular compliance reports for managers (eg sickness).
  • Be responsible for ensuring that all staff data is recorded accurately on the Trust’s e-roster system, ensuring information is updated in a timely manner, and responding to staff queries/issues as required.
Qualifications/requirements
  • The successful candidate will have a positive an-do approach, be able to work on their own initiative, and have excellent organisational and IT skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both face to face and on the telephone; confident, enthusiastic, and eager to learn; experience of dealing with conflicting demands.
  • Be an excellent team player and able to contribute to patient coordination and care to ensure a smooth and efficient pathway for patients navigating through the Therapy services.
