Join our team at Central Manchester Hospital as anAdministration Assistant and play a key role in supporting the smooth operationof our facilities. You will be instrumental in maintaining high standards ofgovernance, compliance, and operational performance, ensuring that all Sodexoand Trust policies are seamlessly followed. This role offers a uniqueopportunity to foster strong communication and collaboration between onsiteoperations, the Trust, and ProjectCo, helping to deliver exceptional soft servicesand uphold our commitment to excellence.

What You'll Do
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the operational team onsite, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Assist team members with meeting deadlines, cover duties as needed, and support various administrative tasks such as diary management, appointment booking, and follow up activities.
  • Manage visitor coordination, including liaising with internal and external guests, hosting visitors, and ensuring high standards of site hospitality.
  • Handle travel and hotel bookings for team members and coordinate the ordering and return of IT hardware, stationery, and other supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation systems (e.g., SharePoint, Power BI), including compiling reports, presentations, and contact details.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies through audits and highlight any gaps to the Line Manager; support communication tasks to cascade information internally and externally.
  • Attend meetings and training, complete mandatory training requirements, and support the team in maintaining efficient administrative processes.
What You Bring
  • NVQ Level 2 Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of having managed a range of administration support functions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office applications (including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent numerical and verbal skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and administration skills, including editing and a keen attention to detail.
  • Have worked in an environment where confidentiality is important.
  • Articulate and thorough, showing attention to detail.
  • Ability to be resilient and adaptable.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive, demonstrating initiative and anticipates needs.
  • Proven experience within a similar role, working with an extremely busy team and with very high standards.
  • Previous experience in multi country or multicultural teams would be an advantage.
  • Constantly raises the standard and quality of work, benchmarking against best practice.
  • Demonstrates discretion and ability to deal with confidential issues.
