A leading service provider based in the UK is seeking an Administration and Production Technician to support their Media Services team. This role involves managing customer enquiries, tracking print jobs, and providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in office roles, possess excellent communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Salary: £26,000.00 per annum plus excellent benefits
Schedule: 37 Hours per week, Monday - Friday between hours of 8am - 5pm

As an Administration and Production Technician in our Media Services team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality design, print and production services to the Defence Academy and external customers.
This is a varied role combining administrative, customer service and print production duties, supporting the smooth operation of a busy print and media environment.
Act as the first point of contact for customers, managing enquiries via phone, email and in person.
Log, track and progress print and production jobs using internal systems.
Produce accurate costings, raise purchase orders and maintain financial and VAT records.
Liaise with internal finance teams and external suppliers, including quotes and payment processing.
Manage departmental purchasing, consumables and stock control.
Provide general administrative support including reporting, filing, visitor bookings and postage.
Support print production including pre-press file preparation, digital and wide-format printing, finishing, scanning and job tracking.
Maintain a clean, organised printroom and paper store.
Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and departmental workflows.

This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, depending on the nature of the role, you may need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
