A reputable educational institution is seeking an enthusiastic Administrator to support the SEND team. The role involves managing student provisions, tracking engagement, and coordinating communication between parents and staff. Bedford High School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and professional Administrator to work alongside our SEND team and to track inclusion across the school. This is a permanent post.
The department, named The Base, comprises the SENDCo, Deputy SENDCo, Lead SEN Teaching Assistant and 7 Teaching Assistants. The role will involve providing administrative support to this team, including making referrals, creating learning plans and updating student provisions. It will be integral in supporting the SENDCo/Deputy SENDCo with the management and organisation of identified students with SEND through multi‑agency and home/school liaison.
The role includes administrative duties such as collating data to track student participation across the school, including engagement in enrichment and personal development, and collating the student, parent and staff voice. It will also support data collection at transition periods (Key Stage 2–3 and Key Stage 4–5) in collaboration with the transition and careers team.
