A leading healthcare provider in Manchester is seeking an Admin Assistant to support a busy outpatient service. The Admin Assistant will support the smooth operation of a busy outpatient service. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting patients, managing appointment schedules, handling telephone inquiries, ensuring accurate patient records are maintained, accurately recording patient details and activities, providing a telephone service, managing incoming calls, relaying queries and messages, liaising with other departments and external organisations, supporting appointment scheduling via MyMFT, monitoring electronic messages from MyMFT, handling requests for services such as transport, interpretation, porters, diagnostic tests, maintaining work queues, managing appointment cancellations and rebookings, escalating issues or complaints, maintaining patient information literature, managing mail, retrieving and storing files, and ensuring stock levels are adequate while adhering to Accessible Information standards.
