Additional Learning Needs Advisory Teacher

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic ALN Advisory Teacher, who has previous experience of leading and working as an ALN coordinator, to join the ALN, Wellbeing and Inclusion team in Ceredigion.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work with schools, pupils and parents, offering guidance and advice.
  • Work with pupils to identify and provide strategies and advice on meeting their learning needs.
  • Support schools in implementing the Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act 2018 and the ALN Code for Wales.
  • Collaborate with ALN coordinators and support staff within our schools and specialist settings.
  • Support the Graduated Response approach, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with members of the ALN, Inclusion and Wellbeing team and the School Improvement team within Ceredigion schools services.
  • Collaborate with other agencies as required.
