This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of loans, guarantees, and equity investments across key infrastructure sectors including clean energy, transport, digital, water, and waste.
The Assistant Director will lead a team of portfolio managers, ensuring that investments align with the organisations dual mission of achieving net zero carbon emissions and fostering local and regional economic growth.
Key responsibilities include monitoring project performance, conducting financial and risk analysis, negotiating waivers and consents, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
The role also involves engaging with external stakeholders such as project sponsors, equity fund managers, and legal advisors to safeguard the organisations interests and reputation.
