We currently operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex with 414 beds, having recently opened a brand-new Home in Central Worthing, named The Poets. We are recruiting for a Part Time Activities Co-ordinator to join our team at The Poets Nursing Home in Worthing.

Role details

Hours: Wednesday and Sunday, 9.30am - 4.30pm

Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that on a day-to-day basis the social and welfare needs of the residents are met. You will be supporting the Activities Lead in implementing comprehensive and meaningful activities that reflect the needs, capabilities, interests and skills of the residents in your care.

• To help create a varied, stimulating and meaningful activity programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home. Ensure that daily and weekly activities/events are clearly displayed.
• To support in the organisation and co-ordination of one-to-one and group activities for residents, bespoke to their individual interests and choices.
• To help plan and organise an activities programme that progresses over time.
