We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate Activities Assistant to support our Activities Coordinator in delivering a varied, inclusive and person-centred programme that reflects who our residents are.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the delivery of a meaningful, engaging and stimulating activities programme, based on relationship-centred care
  • Encouraging residents to express and maintain their individual lifestyle choices
  • Spending time with residents in conversation and meaningful occupation, at a pace that respects dignity, communication needs and preferences
  • Supporting reviews of activities with residents and the wider care team to continually enhance the lived experience
  • Assisting with activity planning, monthly calendars and expenditure records
  • Ensuring activity records are accurate, up to date and inspection-ready
  • Supporting compliance with regulatory requirements, policies and procedures
  • Ensuring appropriate resources and equipment are always available to support engagement
