Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of accounts preparation, including reviewing financial statements and the work of both in-house and offshore team members
  • Guide and support junior team members by providing clear feedback and updates to managers and directors
  • Delegate tasks effectively, giving clear instructions and managing team workloads
  • Monitor job schedules to ensure deadlines and targets are consistently met
  • Handle client issues as they arise and assist team members with routine client matters
  • Step in to prepare accounts when needed
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Solid technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and risk understanding, with the judgment to know when to escalate complex issues
  • Experience working with a recognised UK accounting practice
  • Management Accounting experience
