Senior Accountant opportunity in Coventry, preparing year-end accounts and tax for varied clients. You'll manage a portfolio, mentor juniors, and support directors while developing within a growing, client-focused firm.

Based in Coventry, this well established and successful firm acts for very wide ranging clients across varying industries and turnover to encompass sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, SMEs and OMBs. The firm has a good reputation and has been undergoing a sustained period of positive growth and they are looking to hire as a result of this. Description
  • Prepare and deliver year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders across multiple industries.
  • Manage corporation tax computations and assist with personal tax returns where required.
  • Review work prepared by junior team members, providing feedback, guidance, and mentoring to support their development.
  • Take ownership of a growing client portfolio, acting as a key point of contact and building strong, long-term relationships.
  • Prepare and review management accounts, VAT returns, and bookkeeping as needed to ensure comprehensive client support.
  • Liaise directly with clients and HMRC, resolving queries efficiently and maintaining high standards of communication.
Profile
  • ACA / ACCA qualified with 2+ years post-qualification experience
  • Proven experience managing people and leading audits
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit and assurance
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ambitious, proactive, and capable of working independently while supporting the wider team.
Job Offer
