Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within a small practice.
  • Sound knowledge of UK accounting regulations and legislation.

  • Prepare and file annual accounts, tax returns, and VAT returns
  • Provide accounting and tax advice to clients
  • Ensure compliance with UK accounting regulations and legislation#
  • Supervise and train junior staff members
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Identify and propose business development opportunities

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2/3years' experience in a similar role within a small practice
  • Sound knowledge of UK accounting regulations and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of accounting software
