Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the AP/AR process and drive improvements in transactional functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, strong skills in system automation, and be proficient in Excel. This position offers hybrid working in the London City Centre.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of automation processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and V-Lookups.

• Drive improvements of transactional and billing processes.
• Lead automation of AP/AR processes within Netsuite.
• Oversee end-to-end AP/AR processes.

Job description

The Role: Accounts Payable Manager

The Client: Fintech (Financial Services)

The Location: London City Centre (Hybrid working)

The role:

• Driving improvements of transactional and billing processes with several cross functional teams including Finance, Procurement & Sales.
• Lead on the automation of AP/AR processes within Netsuite including PO implementation
• Overseeing the end-to-end AP/AR process from supplier and customer onboarding
• Full reconciliations of AP and AR ledgers
• Ownership of all credit cards transactions and employee expenses process.
• Assisting with audit queries relating to all these processes.
• Direct line management of the Accounts Payable Assistant.

The Requirements:

• Experience in a similar transactional role within a fast paced business / start up
• Strong experience dealing with system implementation, automation of systems and process improvements
• Comfortable with multi-currency transactions
• Understanding of UK VAT rules including reverse charge
• Experience with Netsuite would be advantageous
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot tables, V-Lookups etc)
