Job summary

A dynamic construction company in the UK is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator / Receptionist to manage all Accounts Payable functions and serve as the first point of contact for visitors. The role requires high attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and previous accounts payable experience. This part-time position involves working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in a supportive environment offering ongoing training and development and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in accounts payable.
  • Confident using finance/accounting systems – adaptable to learning new ones.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Processing invoices accurately and on time.
  • Assisting with purchase order entry and approvals.
  • Supporting the transition to a new financial system.
  • Responding to queries from suppliers and internal teams.
  • Managing supplier payments and reconciling statements.
