A leading travel and tour operator in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced accountant to manage daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and possess 1-3 years of experience in the field. The role offers a structured work schedule from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment statements.
  • Maintain cashbook, ledgers, and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Prepare monthly financial summaries and reports for management.
  • Maintain petty cash and ensure proper documentation of all expenditures.
  • Support audits, compliance requirements, and financial verification.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and banks as required.
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
