Role: Accounts Manager

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established and forward thinking accountancy practice in Leeds. The firm is looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Manager to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio and play a key role in the ongoing development of the practice.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Manager role include :
  • Managing a portfolio of owner managed businesses across a range of sectors
  • Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing proactive advice and support
  • Leading and mentoring junior and senior team members
  • Managing workflows, deadlines and allocation of work within the team
  • Identifying advisory opportunities and supporting business development where appropriate
  • Maintaining high technical and service standards across the portfolio
Requirements of the Accounts Manager role include :
  • Strong UK accountancy practice experience is essential
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or highly experienced and qualified by experience
  • Proven experience managing a client portfolio
