Are you a proactive Accounts Assistant looking to take the next step in your career?

Our client is looking to expand their team with an Accounts Assistant, where you will play a key part in maintaining financial records and being hands on in the day to day finance operations. They need someone with previous financial experience, with strong knowledge of Excel and excellent attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone to become AAT qualified and work within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Processing customer and supplier transactions, ensuring accuracy and appropriate coding
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and up-to-date accounting records for the company and associated businesses
  • Assist with posting journal entries and using control accounts to ensure financial accuracy
  • Processing purchase invoices, perform statement reconciliations, and investigate discrepancies
Requirements
  • At least 1 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or finance role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAGE Intacct
  • Good organisational and time management skills
