An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and highly respected local business with a long-standing presence in the Salisbury area. Renowned for its quality, craftsmanship, and strong client relationships, this company plays a key role in the region’s manufacturing sector, supplying both residential and commercial markets.

Due to continued growth, the finance team is looking to welcome a capable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day finance operations and contribute to the ongoing success of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions
  2. Matching, batching, and coding invoices
  3. Bank and supplier account reconciliations
  4. General accounts administration and data entry
  5. Assisting with month-end routines (basic support, not journal entries)
  6. Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
  7. Supporting VAT preparation and financial compliance tasks
What We’re Looking For
  1. AAT Level 2/3 or 2+ years’ experience in a similar finance role
  2. Confident working across core transactional finance functions
  3. Strong Excel and IT skills with a keen eye for detail
  4. Able to manage workload and prioritise effectively
  5. Experience in a manufacturing or project-led environment is beneficial but not essential
  6. A team player with a positive and proactive approach
