Renowned for its quality, craftsmanship, and strong client relationships, this company plays a key role in the region’s manufacturing sector, supplying both residential and commercial markets.
Due to continued growth, the finance team is looking to welcome a capable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day finance operations and contribute to the ongoing success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions
- Matching, batching, and coding invoices
- Bank and supplier account reconciliations
- General accounts administration and data entry
- Assisting with month-end routines (basic support, not journal entries)
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
- Supporting VAT preparation and financial compliance tasks
What We’re Looking For
- AAT Level 2/3 or 2+ years’ experience in a similar finance role
- Confident working across core transactional finance functions
- Strong Excel and IT skills with a keen eye for detail
- Able to manage workload and prioritise effectively
- Experience in a manufacturing or project-led environment is beneficial but not essential
- A team player with a positive and proactive approach
