Responsibilities
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for clients.
- Support with personal and corporate tax returns.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members to support their professional development.
- Review and finalise work completed by junior staff to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to clients on accounting and tax matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within the department.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated services to clients.
Qualifications
- Professional qualifications in accounting (AAT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Experience managing audit and accounting assignments within the professional services industry.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive approach to managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
