We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to the delivery of accounting services within a supportive, dynamic, and transforming Finance team. The role involves managing and executing key accounting processes effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvements and ensure excellence in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

Complete month-end and year-end processes, including preparation of journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Deliver technical accounting tasks such as fixed asset accounting, VAT preparation, income accounting, and payroll accounting.

Analyse data across multiple sources for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Support regulatory and statutory requests.

Provide insights into variance analysis, depreciation forecasting, and disposals reporting.

Identify opportunities for process optimisation and service enhancements.

Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies to meet key compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Skills :

Qualified accountant or actively pursuing an ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification.

Excellent analytical and data manipulation skills, with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).

Previous experience in a shared services accounting environment is desirable.
