  • Handle VAT returns and corporation tax submissions.
  • Provide practical advice to clients.
  • Maintain records using Xero.
  • Liaise with HMRC and Companies House.

What you'll be doing
  • Prepare/review accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • VAT returns, corporation tax computations and submissions
  • Payroll and related reporting
  • Speak with clients and provide practical, straight-talking advice
  • Maintain accurate records using Xero
  • Liaise with HMRC and Companies House
  • Keep up to date with tax rules and compliance
What we're looking for
Essential
  • AAT Level 4 (or higher)
  • 3+ years' accounting experience (practice or industry)
  • Solid UK accounting/tax knowledge
  • Great attention to detail + confident communication
Ideal (but not essential)
  • Xero experience or certification
