Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial documents.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and trial balances.
  • Support in the preparation of year-end accounts for individuals, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
  • Liaise directly with clients to gather necessary financial information and ensure accurate data for tax filings.
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including salaries, benefits, and statutory deductions.
  • Prepare and submit PAYE, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
  • Maintain payroll records and respond to employee payroll queries.
