The Role

• Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliation reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Work closely with the senior management team on process development.
• Prepare and examine financial records, reports, and statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Processing payroll.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to management.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.

The Person

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
• Experience of SAGE would be highly beneficial.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
• Payroll experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• A hands on approach and willingness to take on additional responsibilities (as required at an SME)
