Account Manager - Publications — Macclesfield / Manchester, United Kingdom

Due to continuing growth we have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager with Ashfield Medcomms. This role is with a dynamic, established team with opportunities for growth and progression. The publications-focused position offers the chance to grow and develop with the support of a large, experienced team. You will use your project management skills and scientific expertise to deliver a range of scientific services to clients, support publications planning and strategy, and act as a true partner to clients. You will research information from a variety of sources to provide expertise in therapy areas and products, and, as a primary client liaison, maintain excellent client relations, meet and surpass client needs, and uphold high business standards.

Responsibilities
  • Work on a range of communications projects across busy accounts with a publications focus.
  • Support publications planning and strategy and be a true partner with clients.
  • Research information from diverse sources to provide expertise in therapy areas and products.
  • Act as primary client liaison, maintaining excellent client relations and meeting or surpassing client needs.
  • Use project management skills to deliver scientific services and uphold high standards of business.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a medical communications agency or pharmaceutical marketing environment.
  • Excellent project management skills; comfortable working on client-facing projects in dynamic accounts while meeting client and group objectives.
  • Experience in publications is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong financial understanding with experience of budgeting.
  • A flair for working well within a team with strong written and verbal communication skills.
