Overview

Salary : £28,000 to £30,000

Our client is a rapidly expanding digital lead generation company who are seeking an Account Manager to join their growing team.

The Account Manager is responsible for the overall success and growth of a portfolio of high-value client accounts. With full ownership of 5–10 accounts, they act as the strategic lead— overseeing campaign performance, maintaining client relationships, and driving team success. They coordinate a team of Sales Representatives to ensure meetings are booked to target and that clients receive exceptional service

The Role
  • Manage a portfolio of 5–10 accounts
  • Fully accountable for client performance and results (75% Retention)
  • Assist the onboarding process for new clientsincluding campaign setup and expectations alignment
  • Fully responsible for managing and leading client renewals
  • Including upsell conversations and retention strategy
  • Own all client communicationsincluding : Leading weekly or bi-weekly catch-up calls with full confidence, clearly reporting campaign progress : successes andfocus areasand blockers
  • Handling tough conversations and managing client expectations with professionalism
  • Pushing back appropriately when expectations do not align with campaign realities
  • Collate & send daily end-of-day (EOD) dialling notes to clients
  • Write and refine outreach scripts and messaging frameworks for campaigns
  • Drive account success through strategy
  • Data targetingand campaign insights
  • Collaborate with and upskill Sales Reps assigned to each account
  • Review performance metrics and proactively identify improvements
  • Troubleshoot underperformance and adjust outbound strategies accordingly
  • Maintain client satisfaction and retention through consistent delivery
  • Proactively communicate with the Directors on client performance and satisfaction
  • Ensure there are no surprises around poor results or unhappy clients
